Our home is on three levels and has all you need for up to 5 persons: the room on ground floor sleeps two (bed 160 cm large). A fully equipped open kitchen and living room with wood-burning stove is on 1st floor, 2 bedrooms (1 bed 140 cm large and 1 bed 200 cm large) and a study room are on 2nd floor, and a separate TV room and laundry/storage room on ground floor. Please note that stairs between 1st and 2nd floor are not entirely safe for small children.
All rooms have bright daylight incl. large windows to South-West. There is a large roof garden with nice views on the river Aare. On the North side we have a small wooden terrace next to a meadow with nearby fruit trees and a small creek.
The house is part of a housing complex with adjacent houses and friendly neighbors. The complex shares some facilities e.g. playground, small greenfield with goals for games, fountain, piazza, and meeting/party room.
Step out from the kitchen onto a wooden terrace to sit in the shadow surrounded by green. Regular bus service to Berne city center leaves every 20 min (daytime) or 30 min (evenings) from the stop just steps away. It takes only about 20 min into the city!
