Acerca de nuestra casa
Our modern and very homy house is located in a village just 25 from Berne, the beautiful capital of Switzerland. The house has been built only two years ago. Main materials are wood and glass. There is a stunning view into the Swiss alps (view to the south) as well as into the Jura mountain chain in the north. You won't stop looking out of the windows and enjoy the beauty of these landscapes. The place ist incredibly quiet and great for relaxing after a busy and interesting day of skiing, sightseeing, shopping and so on. Just around the corner there is a beautiful forest for walking, running etc. The location of our house is both ideal for trips by car or public transportation (only 300m away).
On the north side or the house, another family's home is attached. They have three boys. The parents both speek fluently English, are very, very friendly people, always willing to help out (car, cat feeding, just about anything...).
Very modern kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. Washer and Dryer in the basement. Free WLAN available in all rooms. Our Volvo XC 60 can be used at any time and is a great car for exploring Switzerland (4WD).

Family Bigler - that's Christian (51), Bettina (44) with our daughter Kim (11) and our son Liam (8). Further family memers are our two female cats Tiga and Wuschi. They're both adorable and lovely animals, not very demanding and happy enough, when being fed regularly (once a day - no problem if once in two days). No pet toilet - the cats spend most of their time outside and are very clean animals. We love our house in these natural materials with no luxury elements such as jacuzzy etc (not very famous in Switzerland anyways ;-) ), but which to us is a very comfortable and 'homy' home. Everyday we are fascinated by the outstanding view, always changing in colours and impression depending on the weather. We love travelling - that's also the reason why we are looking for you!
We love Snorkeling, Swimming, SUP, Hiking and exploring new landscapes - is there a better place to combine all of this than Hawaii!?.... :-)
We are living a life close to nature and are loving it! Hiking, walking or biking in the forest, collecting mushrooms, going fishing, ice skating, skiing, all the things we can do in our close environment. In our free time, both Chris and I love playing Beachvolleyball, Kim started taking sailing and volleyball lessons and Liam loves playing soccer with his junior team. Chris is working in sports administration for the town of Berne. Bettina is self employed as a therapist, and has a background in tourism. She loves to provide you with all kinds of interesting and useful information about travelling and enjoying Switzerland. You will love this country. There is so much to see and to do within such a small area. Everything can be reached within relative short distances.

We have no experience in house exchanging. But we are experienced in using someone elses infrastructure and lending ours. It was always very important to us to show our kids how to take good care of things and be careful with them. We will make sure, that our home is ready for you - it will be perfectly cleaned up to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Beautiful cities like Basel, Lucerne, Zurich and Lausanne can all be reached within one hour. Geneva is two hours away. Choose among the greatest skiing resorts from Switzerland, some are among the most beautiful resorts worldwide, all reachable one to two hours by car (Wengen, Mürren, Lauberhorn, Lenk, Adelboden, Gstaad, Zermatt (Matterhorn), Saas Fee)
Bern is a great city for shopping, has outstanding restaurants and is just a lovely and beautiful town! The shopping mall Westside with great stores and a SPA. Another wonderful SPA is just a ten minutes drive away from our house.
