House nearby the forest yet at 10 min by bus from Lausanne

My apartement is on the first and second floor of a 1930's House. The Landlady lives on the ground floor (independent access). There is a little flowery garden (shared with the landlady who takes care of it- be careful and nice) shadowed by a very large cherry tree, a plum. a kiwi and an apple trees, where you can take meals or just lay down in spring and summer. A small barbecue can be used as well. 1st floor: small toilet, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, freezer, oven), bright living with cheminée, one bedroom (single bed). 2nd Floor: Bathroom (bath tub), bedroom with two single beds, small bedroom with a 140x200 bed. Garden and Laundry are shared with the Landlady. Laundry can be used Wed and Thu (must be cleared on Thu evening).

Le Mont is a charming and elegant residencial village just out on the shoulders of Lausanne. Lausanne downtown can be reached by public buses in 10 min. Car parking is available and free of charge 50 m from the house. In walking distance starts a large forest, crossed by the river Flon, where you can spot deers, foxes and many prey birds, ideal for walks in the shadow and picnics. A free-access football ground is also a few hundred meters from the house, and almost always free in summer. Nearby, tennis grounds can be rented. The house makes a perfect place to alternate between visits to the surroundings (Lausanne museums, Montreux, Vevey and the UNESCO-protected Lavaux wineyards) and on-the-spot relax.

I work at the Lausanne University Hospital. I live there alone, occasionally with my two teenager daughters. There are plenty of books in four languages, Internet connection, and a considerable HiFi sound installation.
