“We had an absolutely wonderful fortnight based in Flums. The house is huge and well equipped and very comfortable and is in the most amazing location. If you get a chance to go here then snap it up - you won't be disappointed! 20 minutes on the bus takes you to the top of the mountain beside Flums village (Flumserberg) where there are gondolas and chair lifts and alpine meadows and lots of activities. You are close to a most beautiful lake with cliffs straight down into the water along one side and you can take boats round the lake and also around Lake Zurich which is a bit further away. We bought rail passes and travelled all round by public transport which worked a treat. We flew to Zurich and it is very easy to get to Flums from there by train. Our 3 boys loved it. The weather was fantastic, as it usually is in summer - up to 31 degrees, ideal for swimming from the beaches on the lakes! Jemma was incredibly helpful and we had no problems at all. So all in all this is an idyllic place to stay! Dawn”
