“We've just returned from 3 months of travel in Europe (mostly with home and car swaps). The last portion of our trip was this wonderful house and car exchange in a small mountain town of Slovenia. The Naglav house family was so kind and the house was very comfortable... that's all we need to start a good adventure! Everything was clean, interesting and ready for us when we arrived. They have a rock climbing wall in their house, a small vegetable garden, a trampoline in the yard and a dry sauna in the basement! They also provided a huge batch of information on Slovenia and arranged a pick-up for us from the train station. :-) Slovenia is such a beautiful country and yet, it's one we may not have gotten around to seeing if not for home swapping. Luckily, though,we ended up here though, and used it as a base to see many other areas of the Balkans and Eastern Europe. If you are lucky enough to get to this region, I strongly suggest you see Bled, Ljubljana, Vienna, Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia, and some Croatian islands. Also, if you like horses, Lipica is not too far away. We are very pleased with our Slovenia memories and would recommend the country and this Naglav house to other adventure and nature lovers. ”
