Acerca de nuestra casa

It is a white washed mediterrainen style hacienda, which stands high above the Adriatic Sea. It has two kitchens and 2 larger bedrooms with additional 2 children rooms/ bedrooms. It has 2 spacious living rooms with sofas. There are 2 big balconys, from where you can see the Alps and the Sea. There are extensive collections of english books and DVD, there are three Internet connected PC units. We have satelitte TV with english/american programmes.

We are Mat and Rika with two daughters Diana and Eva(2 and 7 yrs). My job is in Tourism and as a tourism researcher would like to spend few weeks up to 1 month in a different inviroment to see the potentials of that area. I have never done this before and would need some time to organize everything but I do believe that this is a good way to learn about other parts of the world. My mother-in-law would join us so there would be 5 people travelling.

Where is it?

There's a beach 15 minutes away, Croatian and Italian border are 15 minutes away. Slovenian capital Ljubljana is 1 hour away. There are no immediate neighbours, three sides of the property are bordered by forest (you can actually see deer every now and then). Otherwise it is very much like french Provance villages. Less than 10 minutes away therea are celebrated fish and local food restaurants. It is practically in the middle of wine region. Wine cellars are few minuts away. Shopping can be done in Koper (25.000 pax)or in Trieste (Italy). Venice is only 1,5 hour away, and there is a boat to Venice from Slovenia. Even ski resorts are about 1 hour away.
