Acerca de nuestra casa
Our cozy home was built in the 70s, designed by the iconic Slovene architect Mihelic. Last year we renovated its interior, the exterior however remains the same, with brick walls. It is built in one level and has access to the garden from all the sides. It is a semi-detached house, the last one in a quiet street, with no traffic passing by.
The town itself has everything one needs for everyday living, it is surrounded by the most beautiful regions of Slovenia with wonderful nature, the area is famous for delicious food, which draws innumerous Italians into the country, and there are three major wine regions here. Furthermore, it is just a short ride to the famous Slovene capital Ljubljana and other tourist attractions. Since it is situated practically on the Italian border, it takes about 20 min to reach the Italian coast, 30 min to Trieste and its attractions and an hour to the splendid Venice. Its proximity to three international airports make it a great place from which you can explore the rest of Europe.
The nature surrounding our hometown is ideal for walks, cycling, swimming, sailing and more...
All in all, it is a place with a very warm feeling and everything needed for rest and relaxation on one hand and adventure and exploring on the other hand.
We are moving to Australia for a while and our house will be available for simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchanges in Singapore or Sydney are, points exchanges and for rent.
