Piran (Slovenia) is a small picturesque Mediterranean town, gentle and non-hectic, ideal for relaxing and creative work.
Our happy attic apartment, the first row by the sea, is 90 square meters, has 13 windows with unobstructed front and side views of the sea and the back view of the garden and the cliff. The view from the windows includes two neighboring countries, Italy and Croatia. There are two bedrooms, large living room / kitchen, bathroom and a small Mediterranean garden designed with love and care. The garden has a teak deck with dining table and chairs and several terraces with plants. Bathroom and kitchen were renovated in 2010. All mosaics in the house and the garden are hand made by the owner. The apartment is full of details from our travels in Europe, Near East, North and Central America, Pacific islands, South-East Asia, North and South Africa.
It is a serene place and all friends who stayed here commented on tranquility, Mediterranean fragrances, good food and exceptionally good sleep.
Food shops are 2-5 min walking and the beach is literary across the street. One very good restaurant is right next door, the nearest cafe across the street.
