“We stayed at this home in August of 2011 (our fifth home exchange) and both the home and it's owners were absolutely fantastic. The house is located in the exclusive village of Bnei Zion which is located just outside of Ra'anana and about 20 minutes from Tel Aviv. The house is located in a very quiet street and only a short three minute walk from the local play park (which was appreciated by our children.) We particularly enjoyed the local beach which was absolutely beautiful and only 10-15 minutes away in Herzilya (admission free if you go through the free public access.) The house is absolutely huge, so that we didn't even use the upper floor as the lower floor and basement were more than sufficient for our needs. The entire house is tastefully decorated, modern and clean and our hosts left us excellent details on how to use everything from the air conditioning to the internet. There were four very spacious and comfortable bedrooms in the house, an open plan kitchen/dining area (with breakfast bar and table), a huge front reception room with plenty of access to outside light and a thoroughly equipped kitchen. We particularly loved using the outside area as it contained a basketball court, a huge outside table with a dozen chairs and a modern barbecue with lots of shade. As Bnei Zion is only located, less than half an hour from Caesaria, we enjoyed several days there at the beach and visitng the various historical sites (fort, arena, etc.) In short this is a great location to explore Israel, and our hosts were absolutely fantastic in ensuring that our trip was a memorable one!
