We are two retired executives heading for one year to New York City. We have a lovely apartment in Raanana, Israel, that is on the fifth floor of a 6-floor apartment building that is surrounded by a beautiful garden and trees. The apartment itself has an outside balcony off the living room that is partially open to the skies and has a panoramic view of Raanana and well beyond to the towns that touch the horizon.

The size of our apartment is approximately 1,200 sq.ft. It has a spacious living room with great natural light, a large kitchen with a window, 2 bedrooms, and an additional room that serves as an office. There is a main bathroom with a glass shower, and a bathroom with a shower that is connected to the master bedroom.

Raanana is one of the most beautiful cities in Israel. It is surrounded by flowers and trees and has rich greenery year-round. Together with the lush nature, Raanana is also a popular shopping area and has a major shopping mall that has all of the well known specialty and family stores. Raanana has highly acclaimed restaurants and eateries, and it also has fresh fruit and vegetable markets and nature stores. Raanana is also a hub of the international high-tech industry and is headquarters to such major companies as Amdocs, Sap, Nice, etc.

Raanana is one of the most desirable places to live in Israel, and it is only a 20-minute drive from Raanana to the exciting, bustling city of Tel Aviv.
