Acerca de nuestra casa

This is a new spacious airy apartment close to the University of Haifa overlooking the Mediterranean and a park. All amenities are included. The apartment is fully furnished and styled. It is located in the 10th floor of a 27-floor building. The apartment is warm and inviting. There is a great view of the Haifa bay from the balcony and the master bedroom. All bedrooms include a double bed and two of them serve also as offices. Living room has a wide screen HD 46" TV + sound system. Master bedroom has a 32" TV. There are two libraries with a lot of English books. We have a part time cleaning person and on-site concierge. The building has a modern gym and underground parking (two cars).

My wife and me are in our late fifties. We are planning on spending a sabbatical in NYC. I am a professor of psychology at the University of Haifa and my wife is a retiree from an international company.
We are willing to try the apartment exchange for the first time.
We will be in NYC from January 15th till May, 2011. We are willing to exchange our apartment for the whole period or part of it.

Where is it?

Vecindario

Situated in a picturesque area on the Carmel mountain, walking distance to the University of Haifa. Shopping malls are 10-minute drive. Carmel center is 15 minute drive and has a lot of restaurants, bars, theatre, etc. The beach is also 15 minute drive. The city has a rich cultural life with music, dance, theatre, cinema, museums, etc.
