Canggu is a small village on the beach about 20 minutes north of Seminyak, half way to Tanah Lot (including Batu Bolong Beach and Echo Beach). The beaches have dark grey or black sand and offer some renowned and challenging surfing spots. The area remains popular with surfers, the breaks are inviting, the water and the beaches are clean. Our village is a great location for adventure seekers and active travelers due to the abundance of activities close at hand. The locals are smiling and kind. Across the street is our local "pura" (temple) and often you will see traditional ceremonies in the village. In true Bali tradition, the streets, temples and homes, including Līlā, are punctuated with ornate and colorful offerings.
