Traditional Joglo structure, the Villa is a fusion of traditional and contemporary Bali, with a lush tropical garden surrounding the private pool and shaded bale. The Villa is fully walled for privacy and security, so you can enjoy complete seclusion. There is Air-Con & ceiling fans throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, a large, light open plan living/dining area that leads through large glass doors straight onto the glorious terrace & garden, private pool & bale.
Penestanan’s main road is a leisurely 5 minute stroll away, and boasts fabulous restaurants, cafes including Alchemy,Ubud's No 1 raw food bar, & Kue, regarded as one of Ubud’s best bakeries. Intuitive Flow Yoga studio is a 5 min walk, & many health & beauty spas all in walking distance. Ubud centre is only 5 minutes away by car, where some of the best food, shopping and health spas in Bali are located. The famous Blanco Museum and other cultural attractions also nearby.

The neighborhood

The 'Real Bali' experience: while offering loads of amenities, Penestanan is a traditional Balinese Village. Tranquil, rice fields, and at night the melodic sounds of a Balinese pipe can be heard. There is ample opportunity to mix & talk with the ever friendly & welcoming Balinese who live nearby. And right next door is a small Balinese Warung where you can enjoy a Bali coffee or Bintang with the locals and perhaps exchange some language skills!

Getting around

Walking or Motorbike to Penestanan's main road (5 mins). Taxis, motorbikes & Private drivers available for short trips to Ubud's Centre (5 mins from Penestanan's main road), or longer day trips and tours. All transport including bike rides to & from the main road can be organised from the Villa.
