Acerca de nuestra casa
My house is an antique Javanese Joglo, a house made totally of wood without a nail or screw, nestled in a big lush garden surrounding the house. It's located inmidst of rice fields 4 km outside Ubud, the cultural, gastronomic, wellness and therapeutic center of Bali. It has motorbike access and is totally quiet and sunny from sunrise to sunset with several shady places in the garden and on the veranda. Very special is the typical wooden structure inside the house holding the whole roof and the big open veranda. A specially designed open bathroom is typical for the tropical climate so that you can enjoy your hot shower in the sun under flowering bougainvillaes or in the moonlight at night.
It's an open space room, separated by a wooden wall, with a separate sleeping area with king size bed (160 x 200) and a bamboo bed for one person. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need to cook by yourself. But very cheap restaurants with healthy food are nearby. Also a Spa next door offering all wellness services
Two hotels in our village offer swimming pool access at a moderate price.
