Recently restored traditional Javanese 'geladak' (teak cabin) situated in a large and beautifully landscaped lush tropical garden. Room inside is very cozy with queen-size bed as well as a sofa bench that is set up to sleep 1-2 children. Bright and tropical bathroom with orchids wall and rain shower head. Beautiful big wrap-around veranda with plenty of outdoor space to relax and a small outdoor kitchen attached too.
Access to large 15m X 5m pool with adjacent big bale for relaxing poolside. Views of rice paddies and breezes from the sea.
Cleaning staff, maintenance/garden staff, and security included. They do not speak English, but they will make your stay trouble-free and enjoyable in all the ways they can help.
Utterly serene and private setting. Good for singles, couples or small families (can comfortably sleep mom, dad and two small children) looking to enjoy a peaceful stay in a safe and private setting.
Our family generally stays in our home on the same property. We are away for most of the day, but available via phone or SMS should there be any issues. We love hosting and are happy to assist with directions, suggestions, transportation arrangements, etc.
Situated a 10-15 minute (1km) walk to the world famous Echo Beach or a 5-min scooter ride to Batu Bolong. Great surf spots all around. Plenty of excellent places to eat and relax by the beach nearby. The property is nestled behind a traditional Balinese village. Very quiet, no traffic sounds, only birdsong and crickets. 20 minutes to Seminyak, 10 minutes to the heart of Canggu.
The best mode of transportation in the local area is scooter/motorbike. These can easily be rented for about $5/day. All beaches and great places to eat in Batu Bolong or Echo Beach are around 5 minutes away by scooter. It is also possible to hire a car and driver for trips further afield.
This is an ideal location for a quiet and restful getaway. You will have privacy in the cabin, but the host family lives on the property and is available to assist when required.

“Our trip was absolutely fantastic - the property itself was beautiful, relaxing and in a great location (not too touristy). Tim and Insook were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and their staff were also lovely. We also loved their pet dogs and cats. Tim's environmental work and commitment is admirable, he is very committed to sustainable living and conservation work. We loved our stay and hope to go back to Bali sometime in the not-too-distant future!”

Lastly, great views and a hammock to take in the views. You are close to town and the beach when you stay here, making it close to everything. ”
