*LOOKING FOR SWAP IN CALIFORNIA, CHRISTMAS + NEW YEARS 2017* (Open to other warm locations).
Our apartment is situated in the Old West Side (the best neighborhood!), only a short 5 minute walk from downtown Reykjavík. The building has three apartments, ours is on the first floor. The main floor is 80 sq. meters, it has two bedrooms a new kitchen and a cozy living room, with views over our garden. The apartment is from 1930, it has high ceilings and crown molding. We renovated our apartment in the Fall of 2015 - we put in a brand new kitchen, floors and bathroom.
The apartment is equipped for 2 adults and up to 3 kids. We can swap cars and have extra stroller if needed.
For some reason the pictures of the apt. are better to look at on a smartphone (don't know why that is), having some formatting issues!
Close to our home is Reykjavík's best swimming pool, Vesturbæjarlaug - which has a lap pool, pool for the kids, wonderful jacuzzi's as well as a steambath. Café's, restaurants, grocery stores are all in walking distance. Close to our home is also the ocean - along the shore there is a path that is great for running or taking a stroll! Great views :)
