Family friendly apartament in a great location

Our home is a bright and spacious, 120 sq m, 3 bedroom apartment on the first floor. It´s located in a quiet town of Seltjarnarnes which is right next to Reykjavík city, with under 2 km to the city center.

The apartment is fully equipped and very suitable for a family with children. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. Our children share one of the bedrooms and in their room there is one small bed (that fits a 2-5 year old) and a high bed (90x200 cm, that fits 5 year old and older). The third bedroom has a single bed. We can provide a crib for very young children, we even have two if that is needed.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, espresso machine, refrigerator, oven and stove. There is also a washing machine in the kitchen storage room. Both the living room and dining room are very bright and there are balconies from both of these rooms. There is a barbecue-grill on the balcony from the dining room and on the balcony from the living room there is room for the kids to play. There is a free wireless internet connection

Our town is in a nice area and is very close to Reykjavík city center. In Seltjarnarnes there are many things in a walking distance from the apartment, in a 500 m distance there are for example a public swimming pool and gym, quality supermarket (open 24 hours), pharmacy, bank, post office and many outdoor playgrounds. In Seltjarnarnes there is a scenic shoreline that is a popular outdoor area, a 9 hole golf course and a great mountain and sea view.

There is a 2 minute walk to the bus stop and there are two busses that go straight to downtown Reykjavík in 5 minutes. Reykjavík has a lot to offer in arts, music, culture and entertainment with plenty of quality cafés, bars and restaurants.

Those who want to experience Iceland’s nature and countryside can take many different day trips from Seltjarnarnes, for example Blue Lagoon, Gullfoss og Geysir and many, many more. There is a possibility of lending our family car (Hyundai Santa Fe) which has two children safety seats.
