“We had easy and clear communications with Styrmir right from the beginning. He went out of his way to pick us up at the bus station(best way to travel to& from the airport), which was so very kind!! And that was just how easy and relaxed our stay was in his apartment in the center of Reykjavik. Styrmir encouraged us to ask any questions/guidance of where to visit/ what not to miss! Big Surprise was he loaned us a vehicle for any adventures We decided to take!!! WOW! Plus, we really hit it off....and spent a fabulous afternoon/evening at Styrmir’s Parents home.... all getting to know each other....what great fun!! “We had a lovely time in this comfortable, warm apartment. The living/dining area was huge with lots of natural light. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the apartment was lovely and warm. The weather in Iceland wasn't kind to us (which is normal). We had lots of wind and rain and it was lovely to come back to hot water, warm rooms and a huge tv with Netflix. We went whale watching, fishing, to some beautiful waterfalls and a lagoon. This apartment is in a residential area about 5 miles from the city centre, and the bus stop was just over the road. We could be in the centre within 25 minutes. Styrmir was a pleasure to communicate with and always got back to us quickly if we had any queries. Although we didn't use them Stymir offered us bikes, which we really appreciated. This is a great place to stay if you want to explore the south west of Iceland. Many thanks to the family for lending us their lovely home. ”
