Our vacation home is a modern 2-3 bedroom luxourious villa located in Grímsnesi ca 45 minutes drive from Reykjavik. Its in a walking distance from Grimsborgir where there is a wonderful restaurant see http://grimsborgir.com/ . The summerhouse is in a prime location on the golden circle and there is about 15 minute drive to the closest town, Selfoss. In the area nearby the cabin you have golf courses, fishing lakes, swimming pool, resturants, natural springs and more. In the wintertime you have a panoramic view of the northern lights.
The cabin is located in a beutiful surrounding, beside the land runs the Búrfellslækur rivulet and on one side of the cabin there are a little pond. The cabin itself has two bedrooms. The room and Sauna are in an extension from the cabin which is accessable from the veranda. The cabin has two bathrooms, a small bathroom exclusively for the main bedroom and a main bathroom with a large comfortable shower. From the main bathroom is a door and just a one step to the Jacuzzi and the sauna. In the kitchen and living room you have a coffee maker, cooking facility and a dishwasher. The living room, which is conjoined with the kitchen, has two sofas and two reclining chairs, a TV, dvd player and a WiFi. Outside there is a veranda with a hot tub and outside furniture, just of the veranda there is a greenhouse.
