Acerca de nuestra casa

Our home in the centre of Reykjavík is ideally situated for an easy break in this unique city. Situated on a quiet street just two minutes from the heart of the city, it has a sunny south-facing balcony with french doors and use of a shared garden. We live here with two small children and there are two bedrooms, one with a queen-size double bed and the other with a small children's bed measuring 160cm by 75cm and a crib. There's a kitchen with gas cooker, dishwasher and fridge, a bathroom with bath and shower, and an open-plan living and dining area. It's on the second floor, in the loft of a 1920s house, and has two flights of stairs which are fairly steep.

Close enough to Laugavegur, the main street, that you need never use public transport and yet untroubled by noise or crowds, this really is perfectly placed for a city break, or as a base for exploring this beautiful country. A wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops are all within two or three minutes walk, and many museums, galleries and places of interest are also very close by.

We are only a few minute walk from the main bus station where most of the tourist buses begin their journey.
