Family townhouse in Reykjavik near a swimming pool

Our townhouse is located in a quiet neighborhood just 10 km (6 mi) from downtown Reykjavik. This house is perfect for a family with kids visiting Iceland or Reykjavik, in a walking distance from one of Reykjavík's famous swimming pools. In the neighborhood there are great walking- and cycling paths, a golf course, and our guests will have access to the family's bicycles.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood which is ideal for families with kids. Connected with the house is a small private garden in the front and the back and there is a playground just outside the house.

In the house you will find 4 bedrooms with 5 beds in total: The master bedroom has double bed, the teenagers room has 140 cm. bed, the kids room has a single bed and the toddlers room has a small bed and is fully equipped for our 3 year old grandson. We also have a sofa bed. In the living room you will find that it is well equipped with TV, cable, DVD player and home movie sound system.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining, with a dishwasher, and in the laundry room a washer and dryer. The house has a home security system.

In a walking distance there is a communal swimming pool, and there are great outdoors areas in the neighborhood. Short driving distance to a shopping center with supermarkets, Domino's pizza, Subway, pharmacy and more.

Reykjavík is a small city, so everything is nearby. If you don't have a rental car there are several bus stops within 100 m walking distance. If you are interested in swapping cars as well as houses, we have a Kia Sportage 2013, excellent car for travelling outside of the city as well as inside.
