Acerca de nuestra casa

Beautiful 4 bedroom, 1,5 bath contemporary scandanavian style home. This house has a very elegant theme and is richly decorated with excellent furnishings. Relax with a 50" flatscreen TV with Apple TV in the living room, 40" TV in the master bedroom and TV´s in all other bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. Sleeping accomodations include a king size bed in the masterbedroom, queen size beds in 2 bedrooms and a single bed in the 4th bedroom. Very good heating for the winter time (adjustable heating is in the floors). We are happy to switch cars also.

We are located in Reykjavik just 5 miles from the city center in a quiet area right by the golfcourse. Only a short walk to, supermarkets, swimming pools and public transportation. This is a family friendly area with little playgrounds all around for young kids. Just about one mile from our home is one of Icelands geothermally heated swimming pools which has a large pool, 3 hot tubs and a childrens swimming pool with a water slide.

We are a family of six. Our children are 18, 16, 15 and 4. Two boys and two girls. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is an airplane mechanic working for WOW airlines. We love to climb mountains in the summer time and rollerblade through the neighborhood and by the ocean in our free time. And ofcourse we love to go camping all around Iceland. We have done one home switch in 2015 in Miami, it was great! Being from Iceland we love to visit warm places!

Husband works as an aircraft maintenance manager and wife is a homemaker.

Playgrounds all around in walking distance, swimming pools in walking distance, our beautiful "Elliðárdalur" is only a 10 minutes walk from our house.
