Acerca de nuestra casa

If a house could tell us a story, our house could tell e.g. about the storms in history of Finland; e.g. the reign of Russian Tsar Nikolai II, World War I & II.

We can't offer you luxury or perfection, but simple country life. We will have a process or lifestyle of years to renovate and restore the buildings. We bought this farm in summer 2012. Once the house was described as the most beautiful house of the area, and our dream is, that it will gain that position back one day.

We have 3 bedrooms in the main building. There are 2 rooms, which can be used in summertime, in the separate building.

We have a cat.

Más sobre nosotros

  1. We are Aija 52 and Antti 54, a married couple. We have two adult sons, and they live on their own. Sometimes they travel with us, sometimes not. We both parents work with music (church music and music theory, both choral conductors). We like our real, unpretentious life with garden and pets. We like to exercise in fresh air (jogging, hiking, biking, skiing, swimming); it would be wonderful to do it in new, beautiful landscapes!

Our ideal exchange destination would be rural, but all kind of suggestions are welcome. We are experienced home-exchangers (France x 8, Spain x 1, Switzerland x 1, Holland x 1) and we have had great experiences, thank to this service. We made six of these exchanges from our previous home. It goes without saying, that we'll treat your property with a great respect. We love to take care of animals (we have stayed with amazing dogs and lovely cats of our exchange partners), and we take care of everything needed (feed your cat, water your plants etc.) during our stay.

Where is it?

The location of the house is very quiet, surrounded by fields and forests. Nearest neighbours about 300 meters. A little river is flowing through the fields to the Baltic Sea. In the sleepy village there are one tiny supermarket, a pharmacy, doctor, church and a pizzeria.

Airports: Turku 35 km, Tampere-Pirkkala 143 km, Helsinki-Vantaa 152 km.
