Our seaside house is a unique of its kind because the former ownner , from Spain, wanted to create a fishing meditaerranan village cottage in a Caribbean beach, so its very original.ans very confortable,spacious, with a front and back veranda.The setting is stunning, right on a private beach.The breeze, the sea waves pounding and birds songs surround the place with a magical natural harmony.Its an environment of total enjoyment of nature that grows into you-The house is used as an artist atelier, and there are many piantings and sculptures from my art collection.The neighbours are vacation homes too,so its very quiet. Nearby are some great restaurants, mainly fish,seafood,also within 10 minutes is Puerto Colombia,used to be South Americas most imorant passenger ship port in th elate 19th century till the 1940 s .We are right on the beach, its practically all to ourselves - Inside the cottage you will find things that make life more enjoyable, like a fully equipped kitchen, good quality linens, airconditioning, tv cable,good stereo sound system, books,cds, dvds, dvd player.And a house boy or maid for cleaning.I call it casual luxury.Theres a restaurant nearby that willsend its waiter with the menu for you to order and serve the food in our Palapa.If you want a chef or cook, it can be arranged to cook in your kitchen.Paella can be ordered too.You wont want to leave the property, its so relaxing.Should you want to go someplace, nearby Barranquilla, offers cinemas, great shopping in nearby Buenavista Mall, plus many restaurants.Barranquilla offers cosmopolitan culinary diversity,like great, italian, spanish,french, arab, and local seafood restaurants.Also the imrpessive Museo del Caribe.For heritage, Cartagena de Indias is only one hour by the Via del mar.The famous mud volcano is only 45 minutes away for relaxing on its therapeutic muds.Birdlovers will enjoy this corner of paradise, much wildlife around.
