Located in a safe secure condominium, this contemporary designed house with its white floors and high ceilings was remodeled from an artists studio. The rooms are cool and spacious set in a private tropical garden. The house is about two minutes walk to a fabulous beach and less then 10 minutes walk to the attractions of the village of Praia do Forte. Praia do Forte is a unique village free from cars with a wide choice of eating place, it is also the home to Tamar the turtle reserve who have a very special exhibition with live turtles and sharks and who release baby turtles into the sea most days during the nesting season.

Widely open to the outside, the home is very bright, has beautiful volumes and is very comfortable. Surrounded by the beautiful pool, coconut palms and the beach, we felt so good right away. Suzette and Richard made every effort to make our stay enjoyable and continued to help us during our stay. We are delighted to host them in Paris next year.”

“It was the paradise. The house is fantastic with a beautiful deco but easy to live, in a very secure propertie just near a beautiful beach. During our stay we were visited by a family of ouistitis (little monkeys). The market is 5 minutes walking, and Praia is really charming with all commodities. On word: perfect!”

We have lived in Brazil for about 10 years and had a house in the same area for 30
Praia do Forte is a special beach resort with miles of sandy coconut fringed beaches. When the sun goes down this small car free village comes to life with its many eating places, bars and small boutique shops. There is a supermarket nearby and a children's playground in the condominium. Whale watching between July and September, an international surf location. There is a gym in the village as well as pilates, you can rent bicycles or arrange for a masseur to come to the house. Praia do Forte is a wonderful place to renew and reinvigorate yourself in comfortable surroundings. A cook and cleaner can be arranged on request. A car is not necessary but there are places to rent cars if you so desire. Transfers from the international airport one hours distance can be arranged. if you feel more like sightseeing then the city of Salvador with is historic center is less than two hours away, there are many historic churches and interesting museums that are well worth visiting. A driver may be arranged who knows the area and can guide you. The house is about a seven minute walk into the village and two minutes to the beach. It is situated in a secure condominium in an ideal location.
