Acerca de nuestra casa
We are Marcos Hecksher and Carolina Botelho, a couple with a boy (15) and a girl (8). We are both researchers, love to live here since 2012 and we are all together going to visit the University of California at Berkeley from August 2018 to January 2019. Our apartment is in excellent state and fully equipped, with climatization in the living room and all the bedrooms, including a suite. It is quiet, at the 12th floor, in a condominium with swimming pool, playground, sports court, covered parking, garden, barbecue area and a beautiful green landscape. You can see the Sugar Loaf from the suite. Laranjeiras is a residential neighbourhood in the South Zone of the City of Rio de Janeiro that has excellent schools, restaurants, bars, cafes, gyms, a delicious weekend fair with street musicians and happy people, besides various bus lines that can take you in few minutes to the beaches, to the Center or to the main tourist attractions of the city. You can walk 15 minutes to the Corcovado Train Station to visit the famous Christ statue and appreciate the city from the top of the hill. We can also leave a car and a bike.
