Ilhabela is about 160km from Brazil's main airport, 180 km from Sao Paulo and 220 km from Rio.
The house is located at a hilltop, surrounded by a very large garden with centennial trees, planted by the family three generations ago, and sided by permanent tropical rainforest reserves.
The island isconsidered Brazil's Sailing Capital is the place for sailing, diving, enjoying pristine rainforest nature or just relax in one of its 30 some sandy beaches.

We are 50 year old, fans of the French culture - including food, art and history - with long international travel and living experience around the world.
Having the chance now to spend a few weeks with our children in France in July 2013, we would like to offer my family's estate in exchange.
