Just steps away from beautiful beaches, this architecturally-designed house offers a piece of paradise in the renowned fishing village of Praia do Forte. Surrounded by lush gardens and its own private swimming pool, Villa Tahiti is a refuge for seekers of nature and eco-tourism. The house has 6 bedroom suites, all air-conditioned, large open living areas, three dining areas and a new and modern gourmet kitchen and it is is completely enclosed in a secure and private condominium. Our staff are on hand to make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. More time for you to relax in your hammocks or swim in the all-year round warm seas of the Atlantic.

The village of Praia do Forte (walking distance away) has an array of restaurants: Brazilian, Italian, Japanese, etc... Lots of eating al fresco too! Our favourites are Sabor da Vila, Amici, Taverna Paradiso among many others.
Bares fantásticos
There are bars along the beach, by the Projeto Tamar and in the village such as Bar Souza (with it's excellent caipirinhas and bolinhos de peixe), and various wine bars
Cafetería hogareña
A wide choice available in the picturesque village of Praia do Forte such as Cafe do Forte (free internet access) and the excellent Cafe Tango.
Terapia de compras
The village of Praia do Forte has many shops selling well-known Brazilian brands (Havaianas, Osklen, Richards), jewellery and typical Brazilian food and souvenirs. Salvador Malls are close by too.

Salvador is an historic colonial city to visit (one hour's drive away) with its churches, colorful houses, museums set on cobbled-stone streets and squares. Nearer are the Castelo d'Avila, Projeto Tamar and the Whale Institute
