Acerca de nuestra casa

The house was built in 1900 and has a typical Viennese flair with the high ceilings and beautiful historical details. The apartment is sunny, green and cosy. Some parts of the furniture Michael did himself (Lamps, Curtains and pictures).
Our rooftop terrace was built last summer, it´s well equipped with hagmags, sunbeds, shower, barbecue and fridge. When you sit on the terrace, you feel like you are in a garden plus you have a magnificent view over the hills of Vienna. You can enjoy the best sunsets.

We are a young family with 2 children. Our son Sebastian was born 2009, our daughter Veronika in May 2013. Michael, is an architect. Lydia is a school psychologist. We both like travelling a lot and spent internships abroad (New York, St. Petersburg (Russia), Reims (France)). Michael founded an artists group in 1999, if you are interested in the projects www.assocreation.com. We enjoy hiking and spending our time in the nature.
We will treat your belongings with care and respect for your privacy and expect the same.
When our son was a baby we spent the whole summer on the Hawaiian islands with several exchanges and made very positive experiences.
In the near future we won´t be able to travel so far, but we are very interested exchanges in Europe.

Our house is located in a beautiful green, safe and quiet area. It is less than 20 minutes to the city center, the public transport is excellent (train, bus and 3 trams that leave every few minutes). All the shops you need are easy to reach by foot, the bakery is open also on Sundays. Our house is located in a charming street with a stairway that leads to one of the most beautiful parks of Vienna (Tuerkenschanzpark). In this area are a lot of embassies. We can give you a lot of tips how to spend your time in Vienna and how to organise trips to the surroundings. Vienna is famous for it´s culture/art/museums. It is safe, it is clean, it has a lot to offer for kids, just as for romantic couples or those seeking entertainment and night life. The surroundings of Vienna offer you great nature: Rocky mountains (Rax, Schneeberg), the hills and vineyards of Wachau and the nature reserve Neusiedlersee, Austrias biggest lake.
