Acerca de nuestra casa
Our apartment is on the second floor of a recently built apartment house. It has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a single bed, there is also a futon that can be used for sleeping), a bathroom with tub, washing machine and dryer, a big living room with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable couch (also suited for sleeping). Altogether around 90 square meters. Additionally we have a big balcony/loggia.

“We spend a very nice holiday in the house of Stefan and Carla! We had good contact with them and everything was well organised. The apartment is comfortable and has a wide balcony with view on the green courtyard with a playground (they are all over in Vienna). Central located near Westbahnhof, you can travel easy by underground. In the neighbourhood are many shops and restaurants, the people are friendly (thats not always the case in the centre).”

We are a couple (teacher and content manager) from Vienna, Austria and we have a four-year-old daughter. We can only travel during school holidays, but at least in July and August we have plenty of time and are flexible.
We are looking for a longer exchange (around two weeks) in summer but Easter holidays (April 12 - April 22 2014) are an option too.
We rather prefer North European countries and we have been in love with the Netherlands since we lived there for half a year in 2010.

Where is it?
Vecindario
Our apartment is located centrally and very close to public transport and both shopping and cultural facilities. A walk to the city center along Vienna's most popular shopping street will take you twenty minutes (or 5 minutes by underground). We live in an urban neighbourhood being gentrified by students and young families. A trainstation with a shopping center is nearby, but in general there is no noise annoyance unless you feel disturbed by children playing in the yard.
