House in the mountains near the lake Traunsee /OÖ

“This year we stayed at the wonderful and cosy house of Anna, Klaus & Sophie. The house is located on the hills near Traunkirchen and has a beautiful view at the lake Traunsee. It's a big house with a marvelous bathroom and cosy living room; a very comfortable house indeed! We had a swim in the clear water of the lake Traunsee, where you can sunbath, sport & relax. We enjoyed the quietness and made some nice trips in the neighborhood; there are nice villages along the lake and it's possible to make nice walks in the hills. We were invited with Kaffee & Kuchen and they were very helpful in explaining everything around the house! And they did take good care of our house. We strongly recommend this house and family for a house exchange.”

“Our exchange was very straightforward because communication with Anna was so clear and easy. We arranged everything in advance through the website and kept in touch with whatsapp during the house swap. Anna's house is in a perfect location to explore the Salzkammergut region of Austria and beyond. We spent most of our time admiring the fabulous views from the house and also walking and swimming in the crystal clear lakes. Salzburg is an easy 1 hour drive from the house. We lacked for nothing.”

And don't even mention the views from their house and beautiful garden... Wauw!!! You have nature right on your doorstep with beautiful mountains and several lakes with crystal clear water for swimming and there was a great selection of attractions and activities for the whole family nearby. “We had one of our best house swaps yet at Anna and Klaus\' house in Traunkirchen! Their house is up on a hillside in this little town with a breathtaking view overlooking the valley with the lake Traunsee and mountains around it. The location was awesome, just a few minutes to the beach or the mountains with forest. The location is also a great home base for day trips. We had a different adventure every day to Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Sankt Wolfgang, Dachstein, Salzburg and never drove more than an hour in any direction. We had a lot of fun swiming in the crystal clear lake, enjoying lake cruises, walking in the mountains, visiting the Dachstein icy caves or go up the mountain by cog railway at Sankt Wofgang. We also enjoyed the Mozart\'s opera "Nozze di Figaro" at Salzburg Festspiele and decided to see Wien (250 km by highway). They have a comfortable family home with everything we needed, even more beautiful than the pictures. It\'s very well designed for the climate as there are lots of different places to sit to get sun or shade depending on the weather. The house was very clean at our arriving and all the communication with Anna was really easy. Our house was clean and tidy on our return and we also found some beautiful gifts from our austrian friends :) We could not have asked for a nicer exchange partners and would highly recommend Anna and Klaus for a wonderful swap! “This year (2011), we have had the pleasure of going to the lovely house of Anna and Klaus. In advance we have had a lot of communication and find both Anna and Klaus very open and easy to talk/write to. They have recommended alot of activities and made it very easy to enjoy our holiday. The house is very spacious, with nice rooms, fantastic view overlooking the valley and the big lake Traunsee. The neighbours are very welcoming and took good care of us and our kids. We find Austria very beautiful and went to see allot. Travelled up the mountains, down the colorful valleys, into the saltmines, went into the cities and out to the countryside.
