Acerca de nuestra casa
We have a spacious welcoming Austrian home with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
It is of traditional design though in the last few years we have extensively renovated bringing a more contemporary feel to the house. It is in a quiet pocket of the village, great for skiing, cross country skiing, sledging etc. in winter and hiking or biking for the rest of the year.
We enjoy the outdoors, so there are mountain bikes, kayaks, skis and various children's things in the home .... All better if used!

We, Brendan and Yvonne, are an Austrian/Australian family with two children, Fabienne & Scarlett, aged 7 and 5 years old. We travel frequently and as we are living in Austria, try to go to Australia on a regular basis.
We have done several exchanges over past years (all to Australia) and all have gone very well and resulted in lasting friendships.

Vecindario
Hinterstoder is a small, traditional ski village with no glamorous shops or the big "Après ski" culture. If you are seeking a true Austrian experience and a chance to enjoy some beautiful walks in summer or quality skiing in winter, then our home may be of interest for you.
The access to Vienna, Salzburg, the lake district only 1-2 hours away or cities like Prague or Munich only about 2 1/2 hrs away make for a great city escape.
Our area is well served by rail and air links. Our nearest cities in order are: Linz (40 mins), Salzburg (1 1/2 hrs) and Vienna (2 1/2 hrs).
