We use our house to enjoy the beautiful nature, for swimming, climbing mountains and skiing in winter and also to go out in Salzburg (it is 10km to Salzburg).
It`s a cosy house where you can feel comfortable in summer and winter as well! It`s a quiet place with impressive scenery surrounded by clear lakes and beautiful mountains. To the main city Salzburg it takes 10 minutes , there is a bus stop nearby (the bus departs every 30 minutes). To munich/Germany 1,5 hours!
Hallstatt, the world heritage is 1 hour to drive.
You can reach Salzburg, Hallstatt, Munich and other places of the Salzkammergut (known from Sound of Music) by public transport.

“We exchanged houses with Johannes & Petra Labmaayr in August 2008. We were able to meet them beforehand and they were very friendly and extremely helpful with areas of interest near them. Their house is simple but very cosy and had everything we needed to make a lovely holiday. We especially loved to make fires in their garden to eat around. They live in a truly beautiful part of the country.”

I'm 43 years old, married since 20 years with 3 nice kids( 2 boys - 21 and 20 years and a daughter -16 years and a sweet grandchild 5 year). I'm a salesman for trucks and trailers located in Salzburg. My wife Petra works as a teacher.
We live in the north of Salzburg (25km). We love to travel and we are interested in other countries and cultures. We like to travel with our children,but who knows what plans they have for their holidays,so we often travel alone.
We did some very nice home swappes before and we like this kind of travelling very much!

Where is it?
Vecindario
The neighbourhood is friendly.
The house is surrounded on two sides with fields.
To the next shop, where you can buy everything for the daily use it is 0,5 km.
The next skiing area is about 15km, a smaller one is nearby.
The region is very nice for cross-country skiing in winter.
In summer you can go swimming in a lot of different lakes, the neariest, 3 km, is very beautiful and our favourite.
