Acerca de nuestra casa

Hello! We are a young multicultural family living near at the beautiful Mondsee lake in Austria. Almut is 34 and a musician, Manolis is 0,5 and starting to discover the world and me, I am Georg (37) and a self-employed business consultant. We renovated the old farmhouse on our own 2 years ago with a lot of love for detail and are quite satisfied with the result. The house is located at one of the most exclusive places around the Mondsee lake. Just 30m from the lake with a own lake access and beach you can wake in the morning and walk down for a quick swim or enjoy the whole day at the lake. The house itself is our first home an has everything necessary. We have also 8 chickens and 3-4 cats. Around the corner there is also a stable with many horses. For any further information please don´t hesitate to contact us!!

We travelled a lot before and are planning to do so in the future, but found in Mondsee the perfect base.

Where is it?

Vecindario

Mondsee is located perfectly. Just 30 km from Salzburg (good access via the motorway), 1,5 h from Munich inmid the so called Salzkammergut with its many lakes and mountains and rich cultural heritage. Almost every outdoor activity you can imagine is available in the vicinity. Starting from ski (the next small lift is 15 min away), to mountain biking, sailing, waterski, horseriding, paragliding and many more. The area has also a lot of cultural offers: Bad Ischl (the famous Kaiservilla), Hallstatt (UNESCO world heritage), Salzburg (many cultural sites and events). Salzburg also offers good shopping opportunities!
