Our slice of Paradise sits on an acre of land overlooking beautiful Lake Tuross on the picturesque South Coast of New South Wales. Only a few minutes drive from the beaches and village shops, it's a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Birds and wildlife abound - you might see kangaroos, wallabies and the occasional echidna ambling around the area - and that's just from the large deck overlooking the lake! The local area is very picturesque, with plenty of great sights, picnic spots and local shopping. Canoeing, bike riding, golf, tennis, fishing and great cafes and restaurants are all nearby. The south coast of NSW has the best coastline in the country and the weather is great for all recreational pursuits. Only 2 1/4 hours drive from Canberra and 4 1/2 from Sydney, Tuross Head is a place you will want to return to again and again! From a walk on the beach to a hike in the hills, or a memorable meal of wonderful local produce - do as much or as little as you wish. Paddle our canoe to the iconic Tuross Boat Shed in less than 1/2 hour and be rewarded with great fish and chips or a coffee, gazing onto one of the most beautiful lakes around. Enjoy a great meal at the nearby Tern Inn, where you will be greeted like one of the family! Or take a leisurely drive through the picture postcard countryside to one of the nearby historic towns like Tilba - stop for a picnic or just to take in the sights and sounds of the coast. Maybe you just want to sit and relax on the deck, or snuggle up inside with a good book. It's a great place to recharge.We love it and we know you will too and we'd love you to share it with us.
