Noosa Homestead - colonial home in 5 garden acres

We're after a 4 to 8 week swap anywhere between mid-July and mid-October in 2017!

Our lovely, 20 year old, timber and brick colonial-styled home has 4 bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry and living downstairs and a main bedroom, ensuite, sewing nook and study upstairs.
Downstairs the everyday living area is open plan with a spacious kitchen, breakfast and tv area which overlook the picturesque lake and gardens. Beside this a more formal lounge and dining area nestled around a cast iron wood fireplace. All rooms downstairs have access to the wide verandahs, front and back, which are great for enjoying bar-b-ques or just sitting in the comfy chairs viewing the surrounds.
Our home overlooks a large lake which hosts a variety of wildlife from native birds and ducks to kangaroos, turtles and echidna. We love sitting at the breakfast table observing the many creatures interacting in the mornings.
From our place it's a 10 minute drive to the pristine Noosa River beside which you could take a scenic walk or visit one of the many cafes, restaurants or shops. As well you can relax or swim at one of the world renowned beaches of Noosa. Whales and dolphins can be spotted on a walk around the bays and rocky headlands of the famous Noosa National Park. (you might even spot a koala)

The shores of nearby Boreen Point and Lake Cootharaba, in the upper reaches of the Noosa River system, are such a beautiful place to visit for fishing, sailing, canoeing, camping, bush walking and just to get away from it all.

Ours is a great location to just relax at or use as a base for visiting the beautiful beaches and many tourist and natural attractions of our unique Sunshine Coast and hinterland.
