Relax & enjoy indoor/outdoor living in our newly renovated house overlooking Sydney Harbour

This 2,500 square foot two storey house has extensive decks overlooking rain forest , our pool and Middle Harbour. It has a parent's 1st floor retreat with a dressing room and 20 foot long bathroom with spa, over looking a private deck.
On the ground floor, the living /dining room and kitchen and sun room all open onto a deck with wood land and harbour views.There are three double bed rooms, one with en suite, and a guest bathroom.The gardens lead down to the rain forest which is all that seperates us from the Harbour. The small swimming pool is built on a rock face which overhangs the forest We have both travelled extensively and lived overseas and this is reflected in the furnishings.The house is air conditioned but designed to take advantage of cooling sea breezes. There is a two car carport.

Castlecrag is a leafy harbourside suburb created by the American architect Walter Burley Griffin who designed the Capital city of Canberra.It has shaded walks with water views. our morning excercise is to stroll down to the little boatyard below the house where they specialise in restoring wooden boats.In how many capital cities can you do this before going to work? It is a stroll up to the local shopping centre and sidewalk coffee shops from where you catch the bus for the 20 min ride into Sydney

I am a retired hospitality architect and my wife is a business executive in the IT. Next year , we plan a World trip from May to September.The house would be available during this period or, in the 2011/2012 Christmas summer season as we can spend this time up at our holiday house 1 h 20 mins up the coast.
