Surrounding districts on the Capricorn Coast include, Emu Park and Yeppoon, all on a 90 km circuit from our home.Relax and enjoy the stunning Capricorn subtropical atmosphere and surroundings. Emu park is a charming coastal village 35 minutes from Rockhampton and 15 minutes south of Yeppoon. Excellent beaches, islands and outdoor pursuits. This is a modern all white house with designer interiors. amongst beautiful palm fringed grassed areas and great areas to walk, run and play. close to safe and protected beaches. There are rock pools to explore and locally golf, tennis, boating, fishing, sailing, whale watching and numerous historical sites. Yeppon also has great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The Rockhampton airport (with direct 1 hour connections to Brisbane) is 10 minutes away. Keppel Island off the coast and numerous other southern great barrier reef islands are also day trips away (see http://www.capricornholidays.com.au/destinations). House is equipped with everything required for a great holiday (Wii, DVD, , peaceful separate spaces for everyone).
Public transport is limited with hourly buses, however, we have a car available, this is negotiable with insurance etc...
Our local airport is 10km from our home, and the closest city is a 50 min fight to Brisbane, the gate way to the Sunshine & Gold Coasts.
