Queensland 'Beautiful one day Perfect the next'

A really lovely home in a resort type environment with all amenities. The word nearly all our visitors use to describe our home is 'peaceful'. Handy for downtown Brisbane less than half an hour away. But if you want to lounge on the covered patio near the pool and read we have an extensive library available. Brisbane is one of the most livable cities in the world. Handy for fantastic beaches on the Gold Coast(Surfers Paradise) and the Sunshine coast. Various theme parks and tourist areas, including Steve Irwin's Crocodile farm. This is the tourist area that Australians come to. Nearby are great restaurants, a big shopping mall, transport at the door if you don't want to drive. We are a retired professional couple who are looking for exchangers who will look after our house in the same way that we will look after theirs. Car available for exchange is an automatic airconditioned Mazda 323. No small children or pets, no smoking please

Executive type area modern estate. Just a few minutes from mid sized shopping mall and less than 10 minutes from major mall. 20 to 30 minutes into beautiful downtown Brisbane which has its own man made beach and entertainment area just a short walk from the main shopping area. Great beaches Gold Coast(Surfers Paradise) and on the Sunshine Coast with a number of major theme parks. Bush Walks and rainforest within an hour with quaint mountain villages.

We are now looking for exchanges in the UK and Europe for 2 to 4 weeks between 24 June 09 and 23 July 09 or from 26 August 09 for 2 or 3 weeks. We are reasonably flexible about dates as we are retired. The Sun shines almost permanently here and even in the coldest days of our winter you will seldom feel really cold.

We are a retired professional couple. Bet is an enthusiastic volunteer who is the PR manager for Angel Flight, who give free air lifts to people who need medical or personal attention in the Cities. She is also a volunteer at the local hospital. I help out, read, research and compute. We really care for our home, and we will be just as careful with other people's home. Our Grown up children live nearby, so will be available to show exchangers around the house. We may be able to arrange pick up from the airport.
