My modern home was completed in 2012 and has a minimalist style using polished concrete and stainless steel. With lots of louvres it is light filled all year round. The property is situated approximately a kilometre from beautiful Bangalow a heritage town situated in the Byron Shire on the north coast of NSW Australia. Bangalow is known for its sumptuous cafes and up market shopping. Located 30 mins from the Gold Coast, Queensland and 2 hours from Brisbane, Queensland and nestled in the lush hills of northern NSW it is a great place to base yourselves as you explore the surrounds by car or take short plane flights to Australian experience. The tourist town of Byron Bay is situated 20 mins away with beautiful coastal walks to whale watch in season enjoy an abundance of restaurants bars and entertainment. With a superb coastline comes superb beaches from Tweed Heads to the north down to Ballina in the south all within easy driving distance. There are farmers markets in Bangalow every Saturday where you can buy fresh produce locally made cheeses and bread and organic meat and eggs. Every Sunday there is a craft market somewhere in the area with an array of beautiful and unique wares both locally made and imported. Byron Shire is well known for its musical and cultural talent and there are many and varied galleries and live music abounds. Byron Bay hosts the East Coast Blues Festival one of the biggest blues fests on the world circuit and attracts many international artists every year at Easter. The region also hosts many other music festivals, Splendour in the Grass and A Big Day Out to name a few.
